Word of Life COGIC is excited to announce the 

next phase of our COVID-19 Congregational Activities. 


During this phase, Word of Life COGIC will return to 

in-person Worship Services on Sundays at 10:30 am.

These in-person worship experiences will continue to be 

streamed online via Facebook Live and YouTube.


Our Sunday School Classes (Youth 8:45 AM, Adults 9:00 AM) and Bible Studies (Wednesdays – Youth 6:00 PM, Adults 6:30 PM) will continue in their virtual formats (conference call & zoom).

W​HAT TO EXPECT

When to Arrive

Plan to arrive at 10:15 AM for check-in, screening, and seating.

Where to Park

Parking is available in 2 parking lots. The first lot (SMALL LOT) beside the parsonage house is open to all attendees unless filled. When the first lot is filled, attendees may used the second lot (LARGE LOT) adjacent to the church rental property.

Where to Enter

The main entrance doors are at the top of the ramp leading to the building. Please use these doors to enter and exit the building.

What you will experience

- Spirit-filled Worship Experiences that engage attendees and usher them into the presence of God

- Uplifting Praise & Worship selections that exalt God and encourage audience participation

- Life-giving Biblical Messages that present the truth of Scripture, offer hope in Jesus, and impart the grace of God (from our Bishop or other ordained/licensed ministerial team member)

- The opportunity to make a decision to follow Jesus Christ and times of prayer to encourage believers.

COVID-19 GUIDELINES

Word of Life COGIC is committed to providing 

a safe and healthy worship environment 

for all members, visitors, and guests.

 

All attendees are required to follow our mitigation guidelines to help keep our church community safe. 

With guidance from the CDC, Minnesota Department of Health, Olmsted County Public Health, 

the Church of God in Christ, Inc., and the Minnesota Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction, 

Word of Life Church of God in Christ has implemented the the following guidelines:

MITIGATION

- Mask requirement for all attendees

- Temperature checks & health screening

- Socially distant seating in individual family groups 

- Socially distant seating in groups who are attending together

- App-based, online, and touchless giving options

- Shields provided for singers

- Waves, Air Hugs, & socially distant interactions encouraged



SANITATION

- Weekly cleaning and sanitizing of common areas and high touch surfaces following all services

- Hand sanitizing stations throughout the facility

- Touchless soap dispensers & paper towel holders in restrooms


VENTILATION

- Enhanced ventilation through updated filtration system & industry approved air purifiers

COMMUNICATION

- All worship service attendees are asked to provide their contact info for contact tracing in the event of COVID-19 cases.

- Word of Life COGIC will inform church members and attendees of any known cases of COVID-19 from those attending our worship services (via text, call, or email).

- All members and attendees are asked to voluntarily inform the Church Administrative Team when they or someone in their household tests positive for COVID-19.

- All contact info will be kept confidential as well as the names of those who test positive for COVID-19.

Additional Attendance Guidelines for COVID-19:

- If you are among those at high risk for COVID-19,

- If you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19,

- If you are COVID-19 positive and have not completed your time of isolation,

- If you have been recently exposed to someone who is COVID-19 positive and have not completed your time of quarantine . . .
